NPFL: Kufre Ebong departs Akwa United

Kufre Ebong has parted ways with Nigeria Premier Football League side, Akwa United.

Ebong terminated his contract with the Promise Keepers mutually.

The forward is expected to move elsewhere before the commencement of the new season.

Ebong is understood to be attracting interest from NPFL clubs.

The 29-year-old registered nine goals and four assists in 54 appearances for Akwa United.

He once represented Nigeria at the U-23 level.
